This book is about the farms around Burrator Reservoir on Dartmoor. It is the story of the buildings and the people that once lived in the area. Some of these farms had been there for over 700 years. One by one they became derelict for a number of reasons and the major cause came in the 1890s when a new reservoir was built. This is the people’s story.
